Comprehensive, fully integrated shop services and specialized production cell organization set StandardAero Components apart from the competition, but its in-house custom repair development capability truly makes us unique in the repair and overhaul industry. Repair Development, organized as a research and development cell in our facility, focuses on creating customized solutions, including on-site repairs, for aerospace customers.

Designated engineering representatives (DERs), fully certified in accordance with FAA Order 8100.8D, create new repair tools, techniques and processes when required. These experts work closely with original equipment manufacturers to ensure that we are ready to handle any manufacturing or other technical changes in the engines and components that may arise. DERs also focus on innovation and process improvements for existing systems.

Our management fully supports their recommendations and is often ready to make aggressive capital investments to enhance our repair capabilities or expand capacity to meet market growth and new requirements.
